Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is revolutionizing the landscape of personalized oncology by providing deeper insights into the genetic underpinnings of cancer which enables clinicians to more accurately classify tumors and tailor treatment strategies to the individual needs of patients. With the additional information that we can extract using NGS technology, it can be challenging to make sure the latest tumor classifications, available treatments, and clinical trials are communicated to patients. This webcast will focus on the new version of Golden Helix CancerKB 4 database which features a complete overhaul of the diagnostic and prognostic interpretations by integrating the latest updates from the NCCN and WHO guidelines, specifically for hematological cancers. In the demonstration, we will discuss a few hematological patient cases and how VSClinical together with Golden Helix CancerKB can automate the identification and classification of somatic mutations, and generate clinical reports.
